In the System Tab, I can see the Email Server Setting section where you would enter SMTP server details, but I am not able to enter any details. It’s as if those fields are disabled/write protected.
Is there another setting somewhere else in the system that needs to be checked/enabled that will then allow me to then enter SMTP server details?
In order to "unlock" the Email Server Settings, you must click the "Edit" button to the right (highlighted in red below). This will then display an Email Server Settings poup where you can enter your SMTP server details.
If you need to forward to multiple users or external gmail accounts, it is recommended that you setup a Distribution Group on your SMTP server and send your alerts emails to the Distribution Group.
